Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is the specialty of dentistry which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. The word “maxillofacial” refers to the jaws and face.

When you come for your initial visit you will be asked to provide a list of all medicines and supplements as well as a list of treatments and doctors. Dr. Hinze will visit with you to assess your problem and discuss your treatment options with you, including anesthesia.
You will be asked to bring your current medical and dental insurance cards. Benefits will be determined and financial arrangements will be made with you. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, and CareCredit. |
Dr. Hinze also wants to assure our patients that though oral surgery may be planned or unexpected it does not have to be unpleasant. We take every opportunity to prepare our patients for their procedures by providing your with information on what you can expect. Your questions are answered and encouraged as we take your comfort seriously.
Elective surgeries are scheduled in advance. Emergencies are welcome. |
All patients under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or power of attorney at the consultation visit. In Nebraska a person is considered a minor until the age of 19 and cannot sign any legal documents
